The Durham Walk for Lupus is not like your typical Walkathon. Everyone walks
and goes the distance at their own pace.
Some of our walkers walk the path for five minutes others walk for the hour
that is put towards the walk timing.
What makes our Durham Walk a success is everyone can participate and feel the
great pride in participation no matter what your physical abilities are.
65% of all your pledge dollars raised stays in Ontario to support Lupus Ontario and 35% will go to Lupus Canda as we all Work Together to Conquer Lupus…
The Durham Walk for Lupus has a fabulous silent auction , fun fair
games and prizes, Music, Face Painting, Games, Craft Station, Donation Bake, Fundraising
Table, Coloring Contest, Jumping Castle and much more.
All Pre-registered participants that hand in pledge money will receive a walker t-shirt, meal voucher and door prize ticket.
$5.00 LupieLand wristbands will be sold and the kiddies can enjoy unlimited fun at our jumping castle
craft station, fun fair games, face painting and much more. Prizes for every child – Everyone is a winner.
Delicious candy will be provided at our concession stand by The Candy Cause to satifsy that sweet tooth.
Participants that register after the deadline or register on event day will
not be guaranteed a walk t-shirt.
ALL registered walkers will receive a meal voucher and door prize ticket.
