The Durham Lupus Support Group has hosted an Annual Walk for Lupus, Fun Fair & Silent Auction since 2007.  To date we have raised close to $55,000 for Lupus. 100% of your pledge dollars raised will go directly to Lupus Ontario to help fund our Lupus Fellowships and the CaNIOS research project.

What We Do

The Durham Lupus Support Group and The Child & Youth Group offer information, support and hope for Lupus patients, families and friends living with this chonic autoimmune disease.

Lupus is an autoimmune disease that can affect any cell in the body.  Lupus can strike any tissue or organ including the brain, heart, lungs, kidneys, blood, blood vessels and the joints.

Even though lupus patients are working together with their doctors to try and live the best life we can; many still pass away from lupus each year.

The goal of the Durham Lupus Support Group is to provide support but also raise as much funds as we can via our Walk for Lupus and other fundraisers to help in our LUPUS FIGHT.
